If you have the means to do it, experiencing the breathtaking scenery of South Africa from the windows of a helicopter is something not to be missed. Helicopter trips are offered in several of the more popular destinations in the country and special charter flights are available to the outlying areas.

The most flights operate out of Cape Town with the majority operating from the V&A Waterfront. Short and longer flights are available to take in the Cape Peninsula including Table Mountain, the Twelve Apostles, the City Bowl and the long stretches of white sand beaches. Tours also fly out to the wine country where you can touch down at a farm and enjoy tastings and lunch before being whisked back to reality.
